The third ERS Education Research Seminar took place in Frankfurt, Germany, in June 2017 with >30 international experts in medical education and respiratory medicine. >1 year later, we can now reflect on the ERS Education Seminar, the achievements of the Education Council over 3 years, and the continuing path to better understand the education needs of practicing respiratory medicine specialists.
